The evening invites guests to explore installations\, open studios\, and artist-led showcases as part of the Creative Exchange Fund program. Learn more about it at https://themedium.art/cxf. \nFeatured Artists \nDavid Condolora features “The Fox in the Walled Garden”\, an animatic exhibition\, giving viewers a peek behind the curtain at the process of film-making. An animatic is the first stage of the animation process: a storyboarded blueprint\, with compilations of sound and music. \nThis animatic would be a piece of the full feature film\, and serve as a proof of concept for both the movie and for the artist as a director. The Fox in the Walled Garden is a coming-of-age adventure about friendship\, feeling out of place in a utopian society\, the struggle to live in harmony with nature\, and the power of truth. \nGala Reneaum Tello was born in Mexico City and resides in Northwest Arkansas\, where she founded ArtsyGala. She is a visual artist presently focusing on collage\, implementing her love of upcycling treasured\, ordinary materials and the ephemera of daily life into vibrant\, nostalgic\, original works that freeze a moment in time and create visual poetry around it. \nArshia Khan is inspired by the intimacy of everyday objects – the cup you reach for each morning\, the bowl passed around a table – and deepening that connection by creating a new body of functional ceramics using wild\, local clay sourced from the Ozarks. Arshia will explore themes of locality\, permanence\, and craft — and how handmade objects can enrich our daily rituals. This project is rooted in a sincere love for craftsmanship and the role functional ceramics play in shaping our lived experience. It’s an invitation to slow down and consider where our materials come from. \nEvent DetailsDate: Friday\, September 25\, 2026\nTime: 6:00 – 8:00 PM\nLocation: The Medium\, 214 S. Main St.\, Springdale\, AR\nAdmission: Free \nPlease come and support our amazing artists to learn more about each of their artistic processes and enjoy complimentary food and refreshments on us![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
