Transmission is a new longform live performance that takes place in the black box at The Medium. Told from the perspective of an advanced AI entity traveling through the universe, the work is structured as a broadcast—a signal of everything this being has learned as it approaches various planets.

Drawing on my past installation N.I. (Natural Intelligence), which explored human interaction with AI, this new piece is a deeper and more speculative evolution of that inquiry, blending sound, music, field recordings, and spoken word into a single transmission that contemplates love, time, loss, and why we are here.

Personally, Transmission feels like the most cohesive expression yet of all the sonic elements I’ve explored—tied together with a more pointed philosophical inquiry. In a world increasingly shaped by non-human systems, this work turns inward to ask what it means to be human. I never want to prescribe how an audience should feel, but I hope Transmission creates space for presence, reflection, and slowing down.
