1. This project will include two poetry workshops at local NWA bookstores prior to a poetry reading and limited edition chapbook release at the Medium. The reading and chapbook will feature work created by local poets in these workshops and will be an opportunity for them to celebrate and share their work.

2. Key collaborators will be local writers and creatives and local bookstores. I am looking to expand my workshops to Springdale and Rogers and would like to hold my workshops in collaboration with Mas Libritos and Underbrush Books. Local bookstores will also carry the limited edition chapbooks after the release and reading at The Medium.

3. This project will further expand the reach of Bee Balm Arkansas, which right now is centered mostly in Fayetteville. I will be able to reach more new writers, provide bilingual workshops in Spanish and English, and give new writers a local platform for the work they’ve written through this celebratory reading. Writers will also be able to share their work alongside other writers in the NWA community and connect with other writers in the area. Ultimately, this project will expand the Bee Balm Arkansas community and help me equip more folx to share their stories through poetry writing and reading.
