VISIT
ACCESSIBILITY
The Medium remains committed to inclusivity and ensuring accessibility for people with disabilities while continually improving the user experience for everyone given the parameters of our historic space. Here is what to expect when you visit The Medium and the accommodations we’re able to offer:
Parking & Wheelchair Access
There is a designated handicap parking space at the front entrance, located on the east side of the building. There are three additional designated parking spaces available in our large parking lot adjacent to the building to the north. Each of these locations provides ADA accessible routes that lead to our front entrance, foyer, and restrooms. There is additional street parking available on Grove Avenue to the south. Our front entrance is not equipped with automatic doors, but a phone number is listed for immediate assistance.
Service Animals
The Medium welcomes all service animals. If you have any questions about this policy or need assistance in planning your visit, please email jwp@cachecreate.org.
Restrooms
Restrooms are located near the front entrance and have wheelchair-accessible stalls, toilets, hand-rails and sinks.
Breastfeeding/Chestfeeding
Breastfeeding and Chestfeeding are healthy ways to feed infants and provide many benefits to families and communities. The Medium supports breast and chestfeeding families and has space available to comfortably pump and feed your baby. Please find a staff member for assistance or email Thalia@cachecreate.org for more information.

Sensory
The Medium has several rooms available for programming. Light and sound varies throughout our facility and depends greatly on the program you plan to attend. Please visit our website or social media for details on the program you’re attending or contact thalia@cachecreate.org for questions around auditory and lighting sensitivities. Our semi-private Gathering Room is attached to the Main Gallery and is a quiet space available that’s equipped with two adjustable lamps and a blue-light night light for low-lighting needs.
Theater Access
Our theater seating is no doubt outdated and we have plans to accommodate a more diverse seating system in the future. Currently, our theater is wheelchair accessible with seating available for up to 4 wheelchairs at a time on the floor level with designated seating on each end of the first row. Additional theater seating is available by large platform-like stair steps with low-light and railing.
