Amber Perrodin is a visual artist, storyteller, and community builder based in Springdale, Arkansas. A fifth-generation Springdale native, she creates experiences that bring people together through art, storytelling, shared meals, and a deeper connection to place. Whether developing artist programs, organizing community gatherings, or creating paintings inspired by the Ozarks, her work is rooted in the belief that creativity can help people feel seen, connected, and at home.
As Artist & Community Manager at The Medium, Perrodin develops programs that strengthen Northwest Arkansas’s creative community. She helped shape the Creative Exchange Fund, which has awarded more than $400,000 to local artists, and created Table Talks, a free community dinner series featuring conversations with artists and other creatives. She is also the founder of Team Springdale and The Ozark Story Project, creator of the Slow Sunday Supper Club, and previously founded The Little Craft Show. Her collaborative work also includes serving as a community team member for Live in America and as an Artist Fellow with Looking for America, experiences that continue to inform her practice of using art to foster connection and belonging.
In 2025, Perrodin was named an Artist Leadership Fellow through Mid-America Arts Alliance and received a Weaver Award from the Aspen Institute, which she used to launch the Slow Sunday Supper Club, an experimental storytelling potluck centered on seasonal food and meaningful conversation.
Perrodin earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Printmaking from the University of Arkansas School of Art in 2010 and is a certified Arkansas Master Naturalist. Her prints and paintings draw inspiration from the landscapes, waterways, and ecological stories of the Ozarks. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Downtown Springdale Alliance and is an active member of the Springdale Rotary Club.
