Harlie Gann-Egan

Harlie Gann-Egan is a theatre artist and technician based in NWA. From a young age, Harlie understood the importance of storytelling and the power it has to bring people together. They believe stories have the power to reach the people who need them most—to remind their community they are not alone, offer a moment of escapism, teach a lesson, and or give hope.

After graduating from the University of Central Arkansas, Harlie worked at TheatreSquared as a Scenic Carpenter, Seasonal Stage Manager, and Seasonal Stage Operations Assistant. In these roles, she supported artists from around the country in bringing stories like Cambodian Rock Band, The Band’s Visit, Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, Kim’s Convenience, FLEX, It Came From Outerspace, and many others to the stage. With this passion for storytelling, they have also had the honor to work on many new plays at the Arkansas New Play Festival, such as Malcolm X and Redd Foxx Washing Dishes at Jimmy’s Chicken Shack in Harlem, Have to Believe We are Magic, How You Frame It, We Can Still Make Something Together, and a lighting of candles. Harlie has also worked with local theatre companies Arts One Presents and LatinX Theatre Company.

As Event Production & Front of House Lead they support local artists to tell their stories in the best way possible.
